Fusing it All Together: Part 3
When One Path Ends...
The journey I began four years ago is coming to an end. While the destination wasn’t especially clear when I set out, I can now look back and see quite clearly where I have been. I can see the many positive changes this path has affected in me, and the difference it has made for my students. As Oliver Wendell Holmes stated, “a mind, once expanded by a new idea, never returns to its original dimensions.” My mind has been expanded, my horizons broadened. I believe that I have changed as a professional and as a human being. While this particular journey is nearly complete, I see it as part of a larger path. When one segment ends, another begins. I do not know where the larger path will lead. That is what makes it so exciting.
